Did you know that this iconic Aussie treat originates from our very own backyard, Toowoomba? The Lamington was born, when a maid of Lord Lamington, the past Governor of Qld, dropped a sponge cake into melted chocolate. He then suggested to roll the cake in coconut to making it easier to eat.

This Aussie day, Chouquette brings you The Lamington - soft and fluffy vanilla sponge with jam centre, decadent chocolate and coconut coating.
