In amongst the chaos of the last few weeks I almost forgot to post these ones!

Mermaid cupcakes for miss Giselle’s 6th Birthday 🧜‍♀️

This was a very bittersweet order. I have made Giselle’s cakes for the past 4 years and her lovely mum, Sarah, was one of my very first customers so it was only fitting that she also be my last before I take a break to go and explore this beautiful country of ours!

I’ve been really loving spending lots of time in the kitchen with my kids these school holidays and while 2 of them are unwell (meaning we cant really get out & about) it’s the perfect excuse to bake lots of goodies for us all to enjoy!

On the menu today was carrot cake with cream cheese icing (piping done with assistance by Miss 4 and Mr 7) and it was delicious 😋
Seemed perfect in the lead up to Easter 🥕
