Where are you from? Murrurundi NSW
When did you first start racing?
I started racing Karts at the age of 10 and then moved to Formula 500’s at 12
What was your first race car?
Stallard F500
What kinds of racing have you done?
Karting, F500 winged and non wing
Why did you choose to race micro sprints?
I love open wheel speedway and F500's offers a junior development program that will be a great stepping stone to senior racing when I turn 16.
What’s your favourite thing about Microsprints?
The racing is competitive and the friends I have made along the way.
What has been your biggest achievement in racing?
Breaking the track record at Toowoomba and winning the last-ever feature race at Brisbane.
What’s your favourite Microsprint experience? Winning the last feature race at Archerfield.
What chassis and motor combo do you run? D1 chassis with a Yamaha R6.
What inspired you to get into racing in the first place?
Dad took me to Parramatta Speedway and I just fell in love instantly.
How do you prepare yourself mentally and physically before a race?
I mentally prepare for each race by imagining what it's going to look like.
What challenges have you faced in your racing career, and how did you overcome them?
There have been a number of challenges to date, engine failures, mechanical issues etc. that are all part of racing and I overcome each while maintaining a positive outlook.
As a racer, how do you set and work towards achieving your goals?
Mental preparation and a strong will to succeed with short and long-term goals.
What advice would you give to aspiring racers who are just starting in the sport?
Ask lots of questions and learn from experienced people.
What role does your team play in supporting your racing efforts, and how do you work together to achieve success?
We are a small family team and we try to all work together as a team and provide positives wherever possible.
Are there any particular tracks or racing events that hold special significance for you, and if so, why?
Victorian Speedweek has always been the pinnacle and now we have the Powri Nationals to add to the list
How do you handle the pressure and adrenaline during races, especially in high-stakes competitions?
I am focused from the time I arrive at the track to the completion of the night with one goal, winning…
What do you love most about the racing community and the camaraderie among fellow racers?
The speedway community has always been special, no matter where you are in the country someone will lend you a hand or offer their help.
Can you share a memorable experience where you faced adversity during a race and managed to turn it around for a positive outcome?
I was sent to the rear in Lismore by the chief steward in the feature, I maintained composure and managed to finish third.
As a racer, how do you continue to learn and improve your skills both on and off the track?
I watch a lot of overseas racing and work on my own car.
What are your future goals and aspirations in the world of racing?
My dream is to go to America and race sprint cars.
How do you stay motivated and passionate about racing, even after facing setbacks or challenges?
I try and remain as positive as possible, I also have a family that supports me.
Are there any specific changes or improvements you would like to see in the racing industry to promote the sport?
I would like to see promoters support all divisions of racing, particularly the juniors as they are the future of the sport.
