I’d argue none of these are controversial. But then again, you tell me 🙈

The one’s not included in the swipes:

Your X-ray & MRI findings don’t predict pain: Images can show torn labrums, herniated discs, torn rotator cuffs yet there can still be no symptoms. Vice versa, you can be in excruciating pain and your images come back completely clear. Images can be a helpful tool but they do not tell the whole story. 🩻

Pain relief is the starting line, not the finish: Consistency and intentional movement build strength, tolerance, and confidence so bending down to pick your kiddo up doesn’t bring the pain right back.

Pain is not just a part of getting older: it’s just not!! Yes things change in our body as we age, BUT we can choose to move our joints, strength train, and choose lifestyle paths that can keep our body feeling as young as possible. And it’s never too late to start! ⏳

Slouching isn’t ruining your spine: Spines are designed to flex and adapt! The problem comes when we stay in any position too long without little movement breaks.

Asymmetry is normal: Your organs aren’t even centered, so expecting your body to be perfectly even isn’t realistic.

Ok now I can rest 😚

Meet the newest (and definitely cutest) member of the Niche team 🤍👋🏽

Introducing Sonny — our tiny new recruit, professional napper, clinic cuddle provider, and the reason mum has mastered one-handed admin ☁️

The last few weeks have been the biggest adjustment of our lives, but also the most special. Becoming a mum while running a business has given me an even deeper appreciation for women’s health, recovery, support systems, and slowing down when needed.

Thank you to all our amazing clients for the love, patience and support during this season of life. Sonny already has so many people cheering him on 🫶🏽

Shane & Louise showing us that strong relationships are built on movement, laughs, and a little core burn 🔥 Love seeing these two putting in the work side by side every week, keeping each other accountable!

Shane is working hard on his prehab before his total hip replacement, and Louise is here for the good vibes and banter (and the Pilates of course!) 🎉

MEET SOPHIE 👋🏽

Our additional receptionist at Niche!

Sophie’s French parents arrived in Perth in the 60s and started an equestrian training centre. Raised in this vibrant and demanding environment, with 70 horses and 150 students, a career in show jumping and coaching was the natural course. 🐎 Extreme sports and pushing the boundaries physically, meant Sophie was bound to meet Alexia and Carly sooner or later! 😉

Living and working in London at the Chelsea Harbour Club, Sophie worked beside Harley Street’s top specialists, and served the cream of England’s high society. Sophie hopes to use this experience to give you the quality service and discretion you expect at Niche. 💫

Now retired from sport and teaching, Sophie is happiest sharing her home with her husband and children, and entertaining family and friends. Nothing brings Sophie more joy than making human connections, delighting in nature and watching International Show Jumping. 🍃
