Danish Bakehouse (DBH) is the brainchild of Danish born Henrik Dichmann, now living in Melbourne, Australia. After some 25 years in the FMCG industry, Henrik with the backing of his family decided it was time to combine his patriotism with his entrepreneurial spirit and build his own family run business. Henrik, a regular visitor to Denmark is still very much in touch with Europe and has noticed t

he scarcity of traditional bakers in Northern Europe. This created a shift in the cafeteria trend, away from fresh daily baked goods towards a high quality, frozen, no waste approach. Henrik’s vision is to utilize this same approach, adapting it to the fast paced Australian market and unique café culture. Henrik is excited about combining his knowledge and passion to bring Danish heritage and culture to Australia.
