👀Some bakeries want you to see the finished product.
We want you to see how it's made.
That's why our bakery is built from glass. You can watch exactly what goes into every loaf, pretzel, and pastry we make 🥨🍞
🚫 No closed doors.
🚫 No mystery ingredients.
🚫 No hiding.
Our sourdough bread? Only natural ingredients: flour, water, salt and malt.
You'll see us using certified organic flour from Wholegrain Milling, Mount Zero olive oil, Peppo Farms seeds, Australian sea salt, and real butter from Lard Ass just acorss the bay.
Sounds simple because........it is!
🤔 The food industry has become very good at selling stories.
"Freshly baked."
"Artisan."
"Handcrafted."
But behind the scenes?
🤢Artificial flavours.
🤮Dough conditioners.
🤢Preservatives.
🤮Emulsifiers.
A whole lot of ingredients designed to make food cheaper, faster, and easier to manufacture.
⚠️ The rise of ultra-processed food has left many people wondering: "What am I actually eating?"
It's a question worth asking and we wish more people would ask what is in the food they are eating and how is it made?
Because while some bakeries are investing in ingredients, fermentation, and skilled bakers...
Others are investing in marketing.
That's why we make everything from scratch, in-house, every day.
✅ No frozen shortcuts.
✅ No dough conditioners.
✅ No preservatives.
Just real ingredients, proper fermentation, skilled hands, and time.
If we were hiding something, we wouldn't have built the bakery this way.
👇 Here's the part that still blows our minds...
Wholesalers have tried to sell us:
❌ Pre-made custard mix
❌ Frozen tart shells
❌ Pre-made cake fillings
❌ Cookie mixes packed with sugar
❌ Bread improvers
❌ "Just add water" bakery products
And that's only scratching the surface.
The food industry has many dirty little secrets:
The less you know about what's in your food, the easier it is to sell you a story.
💬 What's the weirdest, creepiest, or most outrageous thing you've seen the food industry trying to get away with?
If you're feeling brave, let's hear it 👇🔥
