The Mount Barker Waldorf Spring Fair is the largest fundraising event in the school year. It showcases the skills and talents of all the students from Kindergarten to High School... not to mention those of the parents' and wider school community. As you wander over several acres of beautiful grounds, discover the educational gardens and crush your own organic apple juice, take home seedlings and p

lants to fill your own garden and listen to a fascinating talk about gardening or sustainability...

Browse stalls selling beautiful hand-made craft, second-hand clothes, toys for children, natural skin-care products and a wide variety of other quality wares... Stock up for Christmas! Pop into the Café for delicious cakes and tea or coffee or, for a healthy treat for younger ones, visit the Kindy Café in the wonderful garden of the kindergartens. Whilst there, don't forget to take a magical trip through the Treasure Cave and watch as your child delights in choosing their very own treasure...

Children love the fun and games at the Fair, from the youngest to teens - snag a gift in the Fishing Dip or venture into Sideshow Alley and try your hand at the coconut shy...

Fill a plate with delicious curries or perhaps a famous falafel roll then sit under the Big Top to listen to fresh music from emerging artists or enjoy the musicians from a school band...

It's FREE to enter and you'll want to stay all day...

Christmas is creeping up and what better way to spend this afternoon than at our glorious
Mount Barker Waldorf School Twilight Market 🎅🎁🤶🎄✨️

We have so many wonderful stalls selling beautiful crafts and gifts.
We also have numerous food stalls, selling pizza, curry, a bbq, cakes, scones, jam and cream, Pies and pasties and even vegan donuts! 🍕🥞🍰🍩🌭🍲♥️

Please join us from 3.30pm until 8pm. 💫✨️
We will have efpos available at most stalls but unfortunately no cash out.

Remember this is a pet, alcohol and smoke free event!

We bet it's nothing as exciting as spending time at our glorious school for our festive Twilight Market ✨️🎅🎁
Come and join us for a meal, there is so much on offer! We have curry, pizza, a bbq, cakes, scones with jam and cream, pies and pasties and even vegan donuts.
Come and have a walk through our market of over 20 wonderful stalls selling their crafts, perfect for Christmas gift shopping! 🎁🎅✨️
Bring the little ones to our Treasure Cave and our Fishing Dip, where for a gold coin you can select a magical piece of hand made craft! 🧙🏼🧙🏻‍♂️🪄🎪🎣

We have some wonderful news! If you were a regular visitor to our beloved Spring Fair and missed out on our very special stalls, they will now be featured at our Twilight Market THIS Friday the 21 November from 3.30pm until 8pm.

Remember this is a pet, alcohol and smoke free event!

Some of the special attractions include:
• Fishing Dip 🎣🎁
• Treasure cave 🧙🏼🧙🏻‍♂️🪄🎪
• Over 20 creative stalls selling their spectacular gifts 🎅🎁
• Phenomenal food all lovingly prepared by our generous families 🍩🍰🥞🍕
• The Maypole dance performed by our Class 4 students

After much thought and with safety at the forefront of our minds, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s Spring Fair due to the predicted severe weather. Lightning storms are forecast from midday, and the risks to our students, families, and visitors are simply too great.
Many students have been looking forward to this day for weeks, and we share in the disappointment of letting it go. At the same time, we are turning our eyes toward a new horizon: an expanded Twilight Market on Friday, November 21, where many of our beloved traditions (which families have worked tirelessly for) will live on. From the Treasure Cave to the Fishing Dip, from music and craft stalls to the warmth of shared food and laughter.
While we are saddened to step away from the Spring Fair this year, we are heartened by the resilience, goodwill, and creativity of our community. The Twilight Market will be a beautiful opportunity to gather, to celebrate, and to turn disappointment into anticipation.

This year’s Spring Fair brings the best of the barnyard and beyond: little ones can cuddle baby animals at Farmer Darcy’s Travelling Farm, then climb aboard a camel for a ride they’ll never forget.
