Vivid Sydney 2026
It's hard to know what route to follow with kids. We tend to do a similar route each year and always make sure to get food first. We didn't make it to darling harbour because we were exhausted but we might come back and do that another night.
This route took us about 3 hours with lots of stops. If you've got kiddos with very little legs, the route is pretty pram friendly but you might need to lift the prams down the stairs at Barangaroo

My fav night of winter. We've been taking the kids since they were babies and they look forward to it every year. It's a lot of work when the kids are young but you only live once, so wrap them up warm and go see the show. It's so worth watching their little faces see all the lights. To avoid the crowds we always go on a Monday night, you then have a better chance of actually playing with the interactive lights
