We are incredibly fortunate to have such beautiful gardens surrounding Maces Hot Bread, and they don't happen by accident.
Our wonderful gardener, Kristina, gives up her Sundays and pours countless hours of hard work, care and love into keeping them looking their best for everyone to enjoy. (we are updating the tables & umbrellas to compliment her garden)
Unfortunately, we have recently had people snapping cuttings from our frangipani trees and damaging other plants. While it may seem harmless, taking cuttings incorrectly can seriously damage and even kill a frangipani tree.
We already have signs throughout the gardens asking visitors & locals to look, not touch, yet this continues to happen. It is heartbreaking to see the damage after so much time and effort has gone into creating this beautiful space.
To help protect our gardens, security cameras will now be installed throughout the area. Anyone found deliberately damaging or removing plants will be identified, and CCTV images may be shared publicly to help prevent further incidents. We already have some to spot your vehicle 😉
Please help us preserve these gardens for everyone to enjoy. We simply ask that you admire them, take photos, and leave the plants where they belong.
Thank you to everyone who treats our gardens with the respect they deserve. 🌸💚
