As a result, we are short staffed for the day and unable to open.

Maces Hot Bread – Bread Slicer & Delivery Driver

We’re on the lookout for reliable and motivated team members to join our bakery immediately.

Our current slicer will be taking some well-earned time off at the end of February, so we are seeking employees ready to step into this important role within our store

We currently have a number of positions available and are hoping to fill them as soon as possible.

🕒 Hours & Days

Monday to Saturday (6 days a week)
Start times:

Monday–Thursday: 2:00am
Friday: 1:00am
Saturday: 2:30am
Award rates

🧺 Duties Include:

* Slicing & packing bread and rolls
* Packing orders accurately from order sheets
* Delivery driving
* Good time management
* Self-motivated and able to work independently

✅ Requirements:

Current manual driver’s licence
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to early starts
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude

👉 Training will be provided, so experience is not essential, just a willingness to learn and take pride in your work.

About the role:

✨️Monday to Friday, with a rotating Saturday shift shift

✨️A mix of front-of-house and kitchen work

✨️Making meals to order from a small menu

✨️Packing, refilling, and rotating stock

✨️Maintaining cleanliness of work areas

✨️Making coffee (barista skills preferred)

Mace’s Hot Bread is on the hunt for our missing crates and we need them back ASAP.

Our crates are a vital part of making sure your products are delivered in perfect condition:
not squashed, flattened, or rolling around in the back of the ute.

Unfortunately, due to a large number of crates going out and not being returned, we will be forced to introduce a crate fee.

If you have any Mace’s Hot Bread crates sitting around, please contact us via Messenger so we can arrange collection.
