Hello You Sultana Loving Humans!

We were inspired by Kerry Anderson’s 2016 Book, Entrepreneurship: It’s Everybody’s Business.

Fast forward to 2021... we’re extremely humbled to be among 1 of 50 stories featured in her latest book, ‘Australian Rural Entrepreneurs’!

Kerry is an accomplished keynote speaker, workshop facilitator and author. She is a passionate advocate for rural businesses and communities.

Here at The Sultana Sisters, we are storytellers on a mission to dispel the misconceptions of a stereotypical farmer, deliver Australian produce and empower young people on their agricultural and entrepreneurial journey’s.

Today we celebrate the wonderful women, often working behind the scenes, who drive the prosperity of rural communities and industries, enhancing agricultural and rural development!

One third of Victorian farmers are women. Every day in Australia there are millions of women working in rural communities and industries. Business owners, farmers, researchers, policy-makers, veterinarians, innovators, in private enterprises, government agencies, universities and global corporations.

Gone is the narrow view of what a rural woman looks like. Here’s to all the Rural Women out there!

These naturally dried sultanas are sun-dried on the vine without chemicals, encouraging their natural sugars to caramelise and creating their gorgeous dark colour. Perfect for a natural snack or for using baking.
