🐾 Caramel & Chocolate Need a New Home 🐾
To all our lovely regulars who adore our resident bakery cats — we have some sad news.

Our sweet duo, Caramel & Chocolate, who have curled up in sunny spots, greeted customers, supervised the bakers 😼 and stolen many hearts… are needing to be rehomed.

We would love for them to stay together, as they’re bonded and spend most of their day snuggling, but we understand if the right homes come separately.
They are gentle, affectionate, used to people, and very much enjoy a warm patch of sun and a cosy couch.

If you or someone you know could offer a safe, loving home (or two!), please message us.
They’ve brought so much joy to the bakery — we’re hoping to find them a family who will treasure them just as much. 💛🤎

⚠️ Milawa Closure Notice – Wednesday & Thursday

Due to a planned power outage for maintenance in the Milawa area, our Milawa Bread & Kitchen venue will be closed this Wednesday and Thursday.

Our David Street Albury shop will be open and trading as normal, so you can still grab your favourite sourdough & pastries 🥐

Please note:
This outage will also affect our wholesale production on these two days.

Thank you for your understanding — we’ll be back baking in Milawa as soon as the power is restored. ❤️

Here’s when you can grab your favourite Milawa Bread in Albury! 🍞

Our David Street shop offers the same beautiful sourdoughs, pastries, and sweet treats you love from Milawa — just baked fresh and brought over each morning.

📅 Bread Availability:
You’ll notice Mondays and Tuesdays have a smaller range — that’s because our bakers take a short weekend break, and every loaf takes three days to ferment slowly for the perfect flavour.

We bake in small batches to keep things fresh and reduce waste, so if you’re after something specific, we recommend:
📞 Calling ahead to reserve your loaf, or
🕰️ Placing large orders a few days in advance.

Ever wondered when your favourite loaf is fresh out of the oven? Here’s our bread availability guide so you can plan your next visit 🍞✨

You’ll notice Mondays and Tuesdays have a smaller selection — that’s because our bakers take a well-earned weekend break, and every loaf we bake is slow-fermented over three days for the best flavour and texture.

We only bake a limited number each day to keep everything fresh and reduce waste, so if you’ve got your heart set on something special, we recommend:

📞 Calling ahead to secure your loaf — or
📋 Placing large orders with plenty of notice (our slow fermentation process means we need a few days to prepare).
