The last time I checked, cakes featured in the food category, agreed it is not a 10 on the healthy meal plan and no one should be eating an enormous cake for every meal. Although I find myself eating cake ever so often. OK, since it is food and generally eaten to celebrate life, I believe it should be affordable. No point in taking out a mortgage to have a visually appealing cake, is there?? Long before I toyed with the idea of a home based business, I was frustrated with the affordability of honest to goodness home baked cakes. As a mum on a budget, I wanted everything but the price tag. That is how Icing on the Bake was born. The process is simple enough. You tell me what your occasion and budget is and I come up with a few ideas. You then chop and change it to suit your needs. Based on time, effort and availability I then go ahead and make it.
