For Ajax, baking is more than a profession—it’s a lifelong passion. With over 28 years of experience as a senior pastry chef, he has dedicated his career to creating fresh, handcrafted products that bring people together. Today, he’s focused solely on Elwood Bakery & Cafe, working alongside his eldest son, who he proudly trained as a pastry chef, while his daughter and youngest son are also part of the family business.

In 2022, Vish joined the team and has become the heart of our front of house and daily operations. With over 10 years of hospitality experience, she’s passionate about creating a welcoming space for our customers while leading an incredible team that keeps everything running smoothly.

Together, Ajax and Vish make the perfect team—combining craftsmanship, experience, and a shared love for serving the Elwood community. ❤️
