This one is for the man behind Crooked Letters - Adam; his partner in crime Megan- and their troop of boys in tow.

What started as a shipping container in Mount Waverley, serving up coffee and bagels, then the Drive through at Notting Hill Hotel, came Crooked Letters first cafe Nestled in the backstreets of Prahran.

The humble dream of good honest coffee and bagels created a community. We banded together and supported each other through COVID, the rise of living costs and a change in location up to High/York st; all over a shared caffeine addiction and great banter.

We have watched the babes grow, said sad goodbyes to neighbours, pets, crew members and welcomed in the new comers.

All of this from one dream. A collective of 10 amazing years over several sites - we salute yo our captain, ABC for bringing our community together!
We may be shutting our doors but these memories and friendships will be remembered always ❤️❤️❤️

Thankyou to everyone who came down and made Rosh’s final weekend a blast!

We have been so incredibly lucky to have this absolute gun of a hospo king as our weekend barista over the years. His smile and kindness is infectious and his coffee was always the perfect way to have started your weekends.

We love you Rosh!

To our wonderful Prahran community, we have some news to share.
After an incredible journey that began on Murray Street, and from our home on High/York Street; the time has finally come for Crooked Letters to close its doors. Our last day of trade will be Friday 4th September.
We always knew this day would come, we just didn’t expect to be so lucky as to get five extra years out of what was meant to be a temporary lease. Five more years of bagels, great coffee, and even better company. We wouldn’t be us without you guys!
To everyone who has made us part of their morning routine, who has sat at our tables, laughed (a lot!) with us, allowed us to love your pooches as much as you do, who has become a familiar face and even part of our Crooked family - thank you.
Getting to serve this community has been such a pleasure, and we’ll carry these years with us long after we lock up for the last time.
So let’s make this last month a banger! Come in, grab your favourite bits, and help us go out the way we came in - with full hearts, good vibes, humble bagels and caffeine 🥯☕
