🌿 Bush Kinder at Brentwood Park 🌿
Bush Kinder is such a special part of our kinder program, giving our children the opportunity to learn, explore and play in the beautiful parklands surrounding our kinder. 🍃
Our 4-year-old groups head out every week, all year round and whatever the weather, while our 3-year-old groups get their first taste of Bush Kinder with sessions during Term 4.
With their bags on their backs and lunches packed, the children walk together in pairs — building independence and practising some of those little skills that help prepare them for school. Once there, they spend their time climbing trees, discovering insects and bugs, playing games, getting muddy and exploring nature.
Our educators come prepared too, with a trolley carrying everything from a portable toilet and mats to resources for plenty of muddy play.
Thanks to our wonderful kinder community and fundraising efforts, we’ve also been able to purchase wet-weather pants for both the children and educators — because a little rain certainly doesn’t stop Bush Kinder! 🌧️🌿
