It may come as a surprise to some of you and less to others, but I’ve decided to hang up my apron from Jan 2024.
This has been an incredible experience for me, building something from scratch and learning about the challenges of small business. However as my family gets older and life gets busier, something has to give and lately I’ve felt that cakes aren’t giving me the joy they did when I started out.
I feel so honoured to have been a part of so many of your celebrations over the last 3.5 years, and for some families I’ve made upwards of 10 cakes and countless dozens of cupcakes. I truly appreciate your support, especially those who trusted me so early in my cake journey.
You’ll still see the occasional creation hit this page, as I’ll probably now use every friend and family as my creative outlet 😆 and of course if I miss it too much and change my mind then you’ll be the first to know.
A huge thank you to my family who supported this dream and promoted me proudly, and to all my friends and customers for your words of encouragement along the way. I truly appreciate you.
