“Xu Xuê cake” or you can call it “Jelly Bean cake” is a traditional Viet dessert that is particularly popular in the northern regions. One of the festive treats that we definitely want to introduce in this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival.
The cake has a chewy and slightly sticky texture from the skin outside. It is typically soft and tender, making it a delightful bite.
The filling is typically sweet, with a rich flavor from the coconut and a subtle nuttiness from either red beans or Viet young rice. We sell in a box of 5 with two flavours:
