Today we celebrated my baby’s very first birthday, and of course only a goose theme would do!
I tried out a new chocolate cake recipe for this one — made with a whole block of dark chocolate and a shot of espresso 🤤. Filled with oozy caramel and finished with silky Italian meringue buttercream.

The sweetest little goose was brought to life thanks to a custom stencil from a friend and cake topper from an Etsy store jesslovesjoe 🥺✨
