My mixer broke again and this time I can't fix it myself 😢 it makes it a good time to look back on some of my faves from the last few months while I work on getting my hands on a new one...no more macarons for a little while, but on the bright side it gives me time to work on my chocolate skills 🍫🤤😄

I haven't posted in way too long, time for a catch up starting with the Willunga Almond Blossom Festival Cookery Competition 🌸 It's a great couple of days (despite a wee bit of rain 😅) held on the last weekend in July celebrating everything almonds and showcasing so many great local businesses and artisans from the region. I entered my raspberry and vanilla macarons with the teeny, tiny buttercream 'almond blossoms' on top and came 1st in my section! Love my prizes too! Thanks , & 🥰

Experimenting with some of my left over ingredients from Christmas and turned it into a cute little mini Black Forest inspired birthday cake 🎂🍒

This 18th birthday cake is a 4 layer vanilla cake with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and a beautiful, fresh strawberry coulis filling made with home grown strawberries for the best flavour bomb! 🍓🍓🍓
