Meet Kris, the heart behind our bakery.

For him, baking is about more than bread and pastries. It's about creating something with care, sharing it with the community and bringing a little joy to someone's day.

Every loaf, every pastry and every early morning starts with the same goal: making food people genuinely love to eat.

The greatest reward? Seeing customers come back time and time again, hearing their feedback and knowing that something made by hand has become part of their daily ritual.

And that's what keeps him coming back, day after day🍞❤️

Meet Suad Honey 🍯

Harvested locally here in the South West, Suad Honey begins with rescued wild swarms that have been carefully relocated into hives surrounded by native flora across the region.

Each batch is harvested gently without heat treatment, then strained and jarred raw to preserve its natural enzymes, pollen and flavour, keeping it as close as possible to the way it comes from the hive.

What makes it even more special is that no two batches are exactly the same. The colour, aroma and taste subtly shift with the seasons and whatever is flowering at the time, making each jar a true reflection of nature.

When the marri is flowering, the bees are known to get a little cranky too, with beekeepers often joking that marri nectar is like “rocket fuel” for them 🐝

Suad Honey is available now at both Margaret River Bottega and South West Bottega, with fresh honeycomb available exclusively at South West Bottega.
