One last thank you goes to our amazing staff. Jarrod and I have enjoyed working with you all over the years and we cannot thank you enough for all that you have done. Our staff has really turned into our family and it is so sad to not come to work with you all every day. A lot of our customers know how much fun we all have which is what makes us want to come every day. Not only that but through the last year with all the COVID happens you all stuck around and put in major in the hours to keep us going. I can’t even put into words how much we appreciate you all and we are really going to miss seeing you all everyday. So thank you so very much

Most of all we would like to thank all of you, our lovely customers. Without all of you this would never have been possible. We loved sharing our products with you all and glad that so many of you loved them and also the atmosphere we created in our shop. Our goal was to get to know our customers and always have fun sharing our love for baking and creating new tastes.
We are not done yet, we are taking a break and regathering ourselves and our plan is to open up and pie and pastry shop in Brisbane in the near future. So when it happens we will let everyone know and if your ever down our way please pop in and see us.

We cannot go without saying a big THANK YOU to our lovely landlord. Sibi Girgenti you have been nothing but amazing from the moment we met you some nearly 4 years ago. A big thank you to Quinto from Curcio's Bakery who lent us some much needed flour and yeast this week. We appreciate you assistance and are so happy that businesses that are in competition with each other can still have respect for each other and help each other out from time to time. We also want to make a special thank you to Maria's Mobile Kitchen.
For the last 3 years both Maria and our bakery have run Smoko Vans in Mareeba delivery lunches and drinks and of course yummy sweets to local businesses in Mareeba. And even though we have been competitors out there on the road, we have had respect for each other business and menus and never tried to take each others stops. In fact we have built a great relationship with each other in the process and we look out for each other on the road and work together where we can. The hard times we had during COVID taught us we as businesses need to work together. So as we leave we have organised with the blessing of our customers for Maria to take on a big part of our Smoko Run and our lovely Van driver will be as of next week working with Maria.
So thank you Maria, it has been wonderful being out there on the road with you even as competitors.

The door is OPEN for the last day until 5:00pm this afternoon.
Roast Beef and Gravy Rolls are ready
Pies and sausage rolls are loaded in the warmer ready to go
Doughnuts are filled and glazed and on display
Coffee Machine is on
Pastry’s and cakes are making their way to the cabinet one by one.
And by very popular demand CRONUTS and FRUIT BANDES are about to be getting the finishing touches.
Here we go ONE LAST TIME.

Today we would like to take the opportunity to THANK all of our wonderful trades that have had a hand in making sure our baking is running up to the best standard. In the food business you can’t run without these amazing tradies who usually fit you in ASAP when something goes wrong or stops working due to the need to keep operating. There have been a few times our tradies have squeezed us in at inconvenient times for them just to get our work done so we can keep running and for that we are ever so thankful and appreciative. So I hope I don’t miss anyone here.
