This little vintage heart-shaped matcha cake was made for my churchmates’ birthday celebration. 🎂

With its delicate pink, yellow and white flowers and pretty vintage piping, it looks sweet and dainty… but don’t let the looks fool you! 😆

They loved the bold matcha flavour inside...such a fun contrast between the soft, delicate design and that beautiful matcha punch. 💚

I absolutely love when a cake surprises you. Pretty enough to admire, bold enough to remember. 🥰

This birthday cake was made with canned mangoes since fresh ones are no longer in season...and you know what? It still turned out delicious!

Some feedback just stays with you. 🤎🎂

Last week, alongside the heart-shaped matcha cake, I also made this round chocolate cake for two birthday boys - cousins celebrating together.

Their grandma later shared something that absolutely made my day: the boys don't usually like cake... but this time, they finished every slice and were asking for more! 🥹❤️

As a baker, there's no better compliment than hearing that a cake wasn't just admired - it was genuinely enjoyed.
