No worries at all! I guess the universe decided I deserved a cake day. 😂 So, this Sans Rival is now officially research material for the baker. 🤭

New flavour unlocked! 🔓🎂

An Iranian-inspired birthday cake that was completely new to me — mocha chiffon, cream, walnuts, banana & chocolate ganache.

And the verdict from my lovely neighbours?

“Super yummy!” 🥹❤️

I think this little flavour adventure was a success!

✨ A new cake adventure for me! ✨

This one was extra special because my dear neighbour entrusted me with creating an Iranian-style birthday cake, a flavour I had never made before!

I made a mocha chiffon cake layered with smooth cream, crunchy walnuts, banana, and rich chocolate ganache, then finished it with a creamy icing.

Trying a new flavour is always a little exciting (and maybe a tiny bit nerve-wracking! 😅), but the best part came afterwards when my lovely neighbours told me it was “super yummy!” 🥹❤️

That kind of feedback makes all the experimenting worth it!

Dainty on the outside, bold on the inside.

This little vintage heart-shaped matcha cake was made for my churchmates’ birthday celebration. 🎂

With its delicate pink, yellow and white flowers and pretty vintage piping, it looks sweet and dainty… but don’t let the looks fool you! 😆

They loved the bold matcha flavour inside...such a fun contrast between the soft, delicate design and that beautiful matcha punch. 💚

I absolutely love when a cake surprises you. Pretty enough to admire, bold enough to remember. 🥰

There’s something beautifully fitting about a classic Filipino favourite for such a wonderful milestone - layers of crisp, nutty meringue, creamy buttercream, and that irresistible Sans Rival goodness. 🤎
