The clean begins! All flooring as been ripped up, walls, air-conditioning and roofing have all been pulled down. Now the clean of all the smoke soot and debris will take place before we have a clean slate to start out new build. Stay tuned because big things are coming!! 🧹🧼✨

Recovery Update

To our wonderful community,
We wanted to share an honest update on how the recovery process is going behind the scenes. We'll let the photos speak for themselves—we have now removed all of the machinery, leaving the space as an empty shell.

Next up, we are getting ready to rip up the floors and ceilings before the big clean to rid the place of all the smoke and fire damage. It is a slow, stressful process, but we are taking it one step at a time.

On a brighter note, the design process is slowly getting underway with the help of South Coast Shopfitters which is a welcome step forward.

Thank you all so much for your continued patience, kindness, and support as we navigate the long road ahead. We are so grateful for you and will keep you updated as things progress.

A difficult update, but a hopeful one.

​The last weeks have been some of the hardest we’ve ever faced. Seeing the massive smoke and fire damage captured in these photos and videos has been incredibly tough to process, and we know it's jarring to see our bakery look like this. Learning that it was a deliberate act of arson was a heavy blow, but we are relieved to share that an arrest has been made, and we are so grateful to the police for their hard work and countless hours spent finding answers.

​While our space might be quiet for a while, we are already planning our comeback. We are working closely with insurance to navigate the next steps, which will take roughly 6 to 8 months of hard work and restoration. The whole space needs to be completely gutted, cleaned and structurally restored before we can even start the fit out.

​Our business is nothing without its community, and your messages of support and offers of help have been our biggest source of strength. We are down right now, but we are definitely not out. Thank you for sticking with us—we can't wait to serve you delicious pies, pastries and coffee again on the other side of this. Keep an eye on our social media for more updates through our restoration journey! ✨

A huge thank you to our incredible Lonsdale community, local businesses, and the police for your invaluable help in finding the suspect who caused so much damage to our family business. We're now focusing all our energy on rebuilding, and we're truly overwhelmed by the kind words, offers of assistance, and the local businesses that have stepped up to help us recover. We're doing everything we can to come back bigger and better than ever! 🙏 💙🥐

A man has been arrested over an arson attack on a popular Lonsdale bakery.

** Temporary Closure**
To our wonderful community, we are devastated to share that our shop was affected by a fire in the early hours of saturday night. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but we have sustained significant damage. We will be **temporarily closed** until further notice while we assess the damage and attempt to rebuild.
We are incredibly grateful for your understanding, love, and support during this tough time. We will keep you updated right here as soon as we have more news.
