12 months ago today we started our little business and made our first delivery of pies to Hazelbrook Butchey, NSW with our two signature pies “Chicken & Mushroom” & our “Roast Vegetable”. Our pies are also available at Wentworth Falls Village Meats and we now have 5 fillings to choose from.

Thank you to “Miss Monty”, my daughter and business partner, I could not have done this without you 👩🏼‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳

But most of all thank you to everyone who has supported us in buying our pies, we look forward to bringing new products to you in the new year🥰🥧

The Monty’s Pies girls were at it again in the last school holidays, in and around Sydney having what they call “food experiences” 🤔🍽️😋

After watching Eddie Stewart on Master Chef this year with his amazing Lamington Tower, their first stop was Tokyo Lamington in Newtown for morning tea…on the left you have Sticky Date and on the right you have Mango Bang Bang.

Next was lunch at 21 in Double Bay for they claim to have the best Schnitzel in Sydney. However, on arrival they were faced with the dilemma of what to have 😬. Torn between the chef’s special of Crumbed Hungarian Meatballs served on a green bean stew and the Schnitzel which they drove all the way from Lawson for, they settled on going halves in both and of course followed it with dessert 🙊

We have been a bit quiet of late on social media as we have been busy in the testing kitchen trying out some new pie fillings, which will be available later this week at Wentworth Falls Village Meats

Looking for something different to do on the weekend? Why not try a cooking class at Fifth Ave Katoomba Retreat

Yesterday the Monty’s Pies team took part in a Pizza Dough and Sauce cooking class 👨🏼‍🍳🧑🏻‍🍳👩🏼‍🍳

It was such a lovely afternoon learning new skills, swapping cooking tips and enjoying the finished product on the deck in the glorious sun, followed by a traditional Italian Affogato 😋
