We’re on the hunt for our latest team member at our Laurieton store, and it could be you.

We’re currently hiring a bakery all rounder to assist our team whenever necessary. The hours will grow over time as one of our team is having an extended break in January for maternity leave, and will not be returning to work at their current hours.

- Starting ASAP
- Casual midweek role
- Hours and times negotiable, but not suitable for school aged applicants
- Front of house duties include, but not limited to serving customers, some stock replenishment, basic cleaning
- Back of house duties include, but not limited to assisting with the production and baking of pies and other similar baked goods, packing wholesale orders
- Previous work in a customer based role or food handling role advantageous but not essential
- All training will be provided at commencement of work

It’s been a tense few days in the Bakehouse lately with the Master Craftsman and Cake Crusader preparing to be on opposite sides of the Grand Final this Sunday.

As a staunch Newcastle Knights supporter, I’m sure it probably physically pained Cake Crusader Jesse to produce anything with Roosters colours on it this morning. But after some friendly threats from the Master Craftsman Kenny that he would be adding white to any blue and red cupcakes if needed, we have some equal representation in store today.

So whoever you support this Sunday, the boys have ensured we have the treats you need to fuel up for the long weekend and not feel like you’re betraying your team ♥️💙🤍

But also, Go Knights! (Sorry Kenny).
