Arghh! That moment you realise it’s gonna be a late one 😭😭😭😭😭.

To be fair… I did know this order was coming and I could have been more prepared for sure but we all lost track of the days last week 😂

And I did say midnight, because 9pm is my midnight 😂💁‍♀️

Okay.. am I about to start making people angry again?!

1. I’ve never cancelled an order! I get there is some cases where people need to, but it’s honestly my worst nightmare! I will work on my deathbed to get those cakes on your table!

2. Charged people for “cooling”. Lots of cake makers post breakdowns of their prices to show how expensive it is to be a cake maker, and I AGREE it is.. but why are people charging for cooling? It’s literally just a cake sitting on the bench, fridge or freezer, that is not an expense I pass on to my customers, especially when in that time I will have baked 10s of other cakes.

3. Charged for printed text.
It’s not the customers fault I’m sh at pipping words, I’ll wear that expense 😂

4. Asked for freebies in exchange for “cross promotion”. I have a big audience and im super happy to collab and work with businesses and help each other grow, but I would never ask for it as payment for your services, and always prioritise collaborations with those I already have a professional relationship with (eg. Bought cakes off me before ect).

5. When I get negative or even nuteral feedback I immediately want to cry 😂😭 but after it sits in I know it’s making me a better cake maker and I appreciate when a customer feels comfortable enough to share their experience with me, good or bad!
