If I’ve ever chatted to you at a Farmers Market or a tasting, I’ve probably raved about our Van Diemen ashed cashew chèvre, on a rocket salad with caramelised walnuts, sliced pear and balsamic vinaigrette. Tonight’s version with added ripe juicy blackberries from our garden. An absolute classic!

Our first market free Sunday in a while was spent revisiting places that inspired some of your favourite Artisa cheeses - and doing it the way we like best!
There is so much about Tasmania that inspires us. I wonder what we’ll come up with next?

We’ve loved being part of the Farmy family in 2025 but Sunday Dec 28 will be the last of our scheduled appearances. 2026 is shaping up to be a busy year for Artisa and we’re going to need our Sundays back! These gorgeous vineleaf wrapped cheeses are available for pickup from our factory store today until 6pm, then tomorrow and on Sunday. Numbers are very limited and they will sell out. Message me to put one aside for you.

Fresh cashew chèvre, wrapped in foraged grapevine leaves that are marinated in brandy, all tied up with raffia.
Not only beautiful but the flavour is amazing. Delicate and herbaceous this cheese would be a stunning centrepiece for your festive cheese board!

Discs of Rosie cashew chèvre with pepperberry, panko crumbed, lightly sprayed with olive oil and into the air fryer until golden. Why did it take me so long to try this? So good on crackers with roasted grapes, glazed with pepperberry and apple jelly from our mate .
Next time, I’m going to try the ashed Van Diemen on a rocket salad with caramelised pears and walnuts. Watch this space…
