We are dedicated to exceptional food and committed to our community. Our incredibly skilled and diverse team of 50ish, works across three locations in Launceston, each with its own unique identity.

Our bakers love traditional techniques, hand forming each and every one of our loaves, baguettes and bagels.
We pride ourselves on using quality ingredients and it shows in the exceptional quality of the product they bake each day.

Our team starts early to ensure our bread is baked ready for our much loved wholesale customers and our own stores.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a hospitality mindset, an eye for detail, and wants to work alongside like minded people.

Your role will be in the kitchens across our 3 venues, where you will work alongside our skilled and diverse baking and kitchen teams.

We love what we do, and it shows in every plate we serve, pastry, loaf of bread and coffee.

Get paid to learn to bake sourdough.

Are you committed to bread and passionate about community and food culture?
We are currently on the lookout for an Apprentice Baker to add to our already dedicated and skilled bakery team.

You must be able to demonstrate your passion and we can teach you the rest.
You don’t need to already be a baker, but you must be able to show us your love of great food and bread. Share your passion with us via photos you have taken, places you have visited and stories you can tell us.

Our team starts early, so early birds with a love of traditional techniques are encouraged to apply.
If interested, send us a cover letter that touches on why you want to join the bread + Butter team, how you hope to grow and learn and what you are eager to contribute.
