With over 100 entries in this year’s Lang Lang Photography Competition, there were so many wonderful photographs capturing the beauty, character and spirit of our local community.

📣 Lang Lang community – meet the candidates for Bass!

With the Victorian state election approaching on Saturday, 28 November, come along to hear from candidates standing for the seat of Bass and ask questions about issues that matter to our community.

The Koo Wee Rup Township Committee invites interested community members to a Meet the Candidates Forum at its next monthly meeting.

🕢 7.30pm
📍 Koo Wee Rup Community Centre

Confirmed attendees:

• Rochelle Halstead – Liberal
• Chris Buckingham – Labor
• Chris Jobe – Victorian Socialists

Nikole Schellekens (One Nation) and Sophie Thorn (Greens) have also been invited, with attendance yet to be confirmed.

Each candidate will have around five minutes to speak, followed by five to ten minutes for questions. This is an opportunity to hear their priorities and raise local issues that matter to you.

The forum will be held first, followed by the regular Township Committee Meeting. Everyone is welcome to stay for the meeting or head off after the forum.

All welcome! Come along, bring your questions and help give our community a voice.
