Hey everyone! Please advise your colleagues and adversaries that this week we will not be running the regular baking schedule, just having a coffee and scrolly Friday and a Friday afternoon collab with the Repair Cafe (see for deets).

If this is crushingly disappointing to anyone (probably everyone) or even inconvenient, we apologise. At this time it's just the two of us here managing this thing and if we're both out of the running there's no one on the bench to run in.

See you Friday for some goodness and see you next week and into the future for sourdough, banter, breakfast, sunshine, etc.

Our sourdough focaccias have different toppings every week, depending on where we go and what we do in the days before the bake. Yesterday we were down at Tighes Hill community garden investigating the sunshine and picked some of the sage that was absolutely pumping down there!
We also plucked some rosellas, which today is the jam you can get on a bagel or with the French tost.
It doesn't get much fresher or localer than this - urban community gardens are the best!!!

Mango chutney now on the menu for sambos! From street foraged Mayfield mangoes, garden chillies and bay leaves, ginger, fennel seed, apple cider vinegar, onion. is the prince of preservatives!

2025 has been massive! We want to say a Huge Thanks to everyone who has supported us along the way, through our neverending stream of jobs: everyone who comes in the morning for a coffee and breakfast, who comes in the evening for pizza! Thanks to our wonderful team of sweethearts and the even larger crew of helpers. All your friendly faces and devouring mouths have continually reminded us what we're doing this for!

We're going to be solidifying next year, with a schedule, operating hours, all that official business. Stay tuned for all your sourdough and vibe needs. Happy thank goodness this year is over!!! Lots of love
