IT’S EMILY’S DAY! Once again, our bakery and our town was painted in pink in support of Emily’s Day for Battens Awareness to spread knowledge of Batten Disease (aka NCLs). It is a rare group of hereditary disorders that affects the nervous and the brain. Unfortunately, there is currently no cure and no specific treatment to reverse its symptoms. The donations collected from our pink cupcake sale will be used toward further research of Batten Disease.
We thank and appreciate all of our kind customers who donated and took the time to learn about this cause today . 💖

- Junior staff: Persons between 15-17 years old
- Senior staff: Persons above 18 years old

Yesterday, Laidley blocked off the street to conduct a wonderful ANZAC day march. It was so nice to see how such an important day of our history brought locals together ☺️.
