It takes a lot of organisation and preparation to pull off a wedding let alone 3 in a 48 hr period !
A few years ago I set myself the task of a double wedding and achieved it, we laughed and we said I'd never do it again 🤣 fast forward 2 years BOOM amnesia set In and I booked in 3 lol
I love what I do more importantly I love helping my clients turn vision into a reality .
To give you a sneak peek of what goes into these pics this week the Blooming cakery has gone through 170 eggs( for cakes and canapes) 230 roses + flowers and foliage , 500+ metres of fairy lights and racked up 1200+ kms and we accomplished the lot!
I may steer the ship but I have been backed and supported by my amazing team ! They have peeled, choped , stripped flowers, hung lights and anything else that needed to be done! I am nothing without my wonderful family and work family i am so proud of what we delieved . I thank my clients for their support and faith in me.

Hello Bloom followers, it's been a while since I posted! As many of you are aware I've been very busy at Oopsa Daizies & Co
Thats not to say the Blooming cakery hasn't been creating I just haven't caught up on sharing.

This week I will be out of the office as I have 3 weddings to prepare for this weekend coming. Please be patient and know i will get back to messages and emails as soon as possible

As promised , new and exciting adventures are in stall for 2022!
The Blooming Cakery has branched out and will be blossoming in store ( at Flower affection trading as Oopsa Daizies)
for all your floral needs. I welcome my amazing parents to the Bloom Crew and can't wait to continue to create alongside my partners in crime.

We are a bespoke florist and event planning/styling business owned and operated by Wendy & Mark Farenden & Tara Laarhoven.

Our opening day will be next Monday, 24th January and whilst in our transition period we will still be trading under the Flower Affection banner at 124 Summerland Way.

Thank you to Deb Ryan for entrusting us with the foundations of Flower Affection and we wish her all the happiness in the world.

We look forward to meeting you all and welcoming our previous clients/friends into a beautiful new space we have created.

Still catching up!, December has been such a busy time with graduations and catering jobs.
On the 8th December I had the pleasure of cooking for the yr 12 graduation in Woodenbong.

Last Friday kicked off another huge weekend of catering. I had the pleasure of catering the St Brigids Staff Christmas Dinner once again.
The staff dined on a Grazing platter to start followed by slow cooked BBQ maple brisket with sides of fennel slaw, rice salad and a bacon and chive stuffed potato. Dessert was apple crumble, Mars Bar and white chocolate cheesecakes. Shout out to my gal pal Al Lewis the wandering worker for her assistance!
