Last night we closed Salt Village French Patisserie, permanently. Thank you to all of our regular customers who have supported us through 8 years of great times and trying times. This is a hard time for staff as they lose their livelihood and for our many student casuals who have taken their first steps in the workforce with us. It has been a privilege to serve our pastries and coffee.

Bonjour! Our vanilla slice is not the Aussie custard slice. It is a a French Mille Feuille style with creme patisserie. We can’t keep up with producing enough but this week we have put in a place a new procedure to give a crack. From Tuesday on we expect to have Mille Feuille everyday.
