To our Kilmore family, thank you.
Today is our last day in Kilmore, and we wanted to say this properly rather than let the doors quietly close.
Kemps Bakery has been part of Kilmore for more than 36 years, across two owners. That is a long time to be woven into a town. Generations of birthday cakes, Friday morning coffees, school lunch orders, and the regulars who became friends. You made this place what it was.
The decision to close has not been an easy one. The Kilmore store has not been viable for some time now, and after a lot of thought we have made the hard call to consolidate down to our Wandong store so we can keep serving our community well for years to come.
This is not goodbye. We are still here, just up the road.
Our Wandong store is open as always, and we would love to keep looking after you there. The same favourites and the same friendly welcome are waiting for you.
To every customer who supported us over the years, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are the reason any of it was worth doing.
