Pouring Coffee for Colombia!

We are heartbroken to hear the news of the devastating earthquake that hit Colombia a few days ago so this Saturday we will be raising money for Cruz Rojas Colombia (Red Cross Colombia). We will be giving $1 for every coffee or drink sold on Saturday 15/8 to aid and ongoing efforts helping those affected by the earthquake.

Lynda, one of our valued Double Dutch crew pictured here holding some cuppas, will be floating around flying her Colombian flag so say hi and show your support!!!!

Coffee has always been there as a way to bring people together at the best of times, and Colombia is such an integral part in the global industry (you’ve been sipping some Colombian coffee in Rumble Coffee Roasters Haymaker blend at some point) so now let it bring us together to support a good cause in these trying times.

Come down to the bakery this Saturday to sip some damn fine coffee for a good cause!

Happy Sunday Melbourne!
In case you missed it we are now open on Sundays. We will be stocked up with bread, sangas and delicious sweet treats. Our baristas will be slinging coffees and the vibes will be meticulous.

Its a loosely kept secret that this loaf is our head bakers favourite loaf.
Why? Because it’s a sourdough loaf made with 100% wholegrain spelt flour.

This hearty loaf is perfect with soups, stews, cheese platters or just on the table to share with friends and family over a big dinner!

Starting tomorrow you will see a few of our drink and food prices with a slight increase. We talk a lot leading up to these big decisions, and it’s never a change we enjoy making, but with legislation putting up award wages (always a great thing don’t get us wrong), fuel prices putting up supplier costs, overheads never looking so expensive.. it’s gotta be done.
It’s not a lot, and our quality products will continue to give you all the happiness y’all deserve.
Chat to our staff (nicely) about it , look at other cafes, restaurants and bakeries and see what they’re doing, get behind small businesses as they prop up the communities you live in.

Well we’ve been here before saying Bon Voyage to our dear, Robin, but it never seems to get any easier. Robin has been a tooth gem-filled, smiling staple of the front of house crew, and we are so proud to see her off on her next chapter on her pursuit to become a teacher. She will be missed!
