Blaze and the Monster Machines was the theme of my grandson’s 3rd birthday. As this cartoon is American based I had a hard time finding characters. The tiny cars were all I could find so I made Blaze out of fondant. His little face was full of so much happiness when he saw Blaze.

Baby Shower cake for my daughter to celebrate Baby Wilson. The theme for her baby shower was ‘ A Little Cutie is on the Way’. In America ‘Cutie’ is a type of orange. Funny thing about this cake…..we forgot it and nearly everyone had gone home before I remembered. I asked my daughter what sort of cake she wanted for her birthday and she said, I want a Mars Bar cheesecake. So that’s what she got, but I was wondering how we are going to make the cheesecake feed everyone and decided she needed a cake too. I made a slab cake because we travelled to Airlie Beach and it had to fit in the Engel fridge. It is a white chocolate mud cake.

A last minute cute little cake for my daughter’s close friend’s birthday. We were heading to Airlie Beach for my daughter’s 30th birthday and found out it was her friend’s birthday while we were there also. The colours were peach, sage and latte not grey as the photo appears.
