☕ **The End of an Era... and the Beginning of a New One!** ☕

Tomorrow, Wednesday will be a bittersweet day at Emu Lane as we pull the very last shots of **The Coffee Company's Super Java Blend**.

For more than a decade, Super Java has been the heart of every coffee we've served – full of flavour, rich, strong and beautifully smooth. It's been part of countless morning routines, catch-ups, celebrations and conversations. We're incredibly grateful to **Marlon, Joel and the team at The Coffee Company** for looking after us so well over the past 10+ years.

Unfortunately, with the significant increase in freight costs, it was time for us to find a new roasting partner.

After a lot of research (and an extremely tough Sunday morning spent drinking far too much coffee ☕😉), our very dedicated tasting panel reached a decision.

We're excited to announce that **Little Owl Coffee Roasters** from Myaree will now be supplying the beans behind your favourite Emu Lane coffee.

Proudly West Australian and passionate about their craft, Little Owl's commitment to exceptional coffee, quality products and outstanding barista training immediately impressed us. Then we tasted their **Eclipse Blend**... and we were hooked!

Bold, full-bodied and seriously strong, Eclipse is built for night owls, early starts and long days. We knew it was the perfect successor to the blend you've all come to love.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with the tasting panel. It wasn't an easy job comparing so many great coffees... but someone had to do it! 😄

As the saying goes, **when one door closes, another opens.**

Yesterday a dedicated team of discerning coffee drinkers came together to help us in our consideration of a new coffee roaster.
they waded their way through 5 different roasters and coffee.
this was a narrowed down list of roasts
that is similar in roast profile to our current coffee beans.
thanks for their input and time.
We will announce if and when we change our beans
