❤️ WALK TO REMEMBER ❤️
Today we stepped away from the Bakery for a little while to take part in the Walk to Remember, honouring the precious babies who were taken from us far too soon, babies who never got the chance to take their first steps.
For those who know us through Bakehouse on Central, you see the cakes, the bread, the coffee, the early mornings and the busy days. But behind the Bakery is a family, and like so many families, we carry our own story, our own heartbreak and our own memories.
Our journey to building our little business has happened alongside some of the hardest moments of our lives. There have been days when putting on a smile, opening the doors and getting through the day has taken more strength than people could ever know.
Today was a reminder that behind every business are real people, real stories and sometimes battles that aren't visible.
We walked today for the babies we lost, for the families who carry their memories every day, and for the little lives that will always be part of our story. ❤️
A huge thank you to Abbey for organising such a beautiful event, and to Red Nose Community Queensland for continuing to support families through unimaginable loss.
From our family to yours, hold your loved ones a little closer tonight. ❤️
