A celebration of the life of Greg Pitman will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, July 16th at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Horsham.
Private cremation to follow.
No flowers by request. Beyond Blue donation envelopes will be available on the day, otherwise you can use the following link to donate online in memory of Greg.

Hello everyone,
The response today has been absolutely incredible! We have sold out of most things, but we do have a few things left: hot pasties, frozen chicken pies, family apricot pies and some various sweets.
We can’t thank you enough for your support, kind words, hugs and well wishes.

To our friends, family and community,
It is with heavy hearts we announce that Greg, or “Pitty the Pie Man” as so many of you knew him, has passed away.

Besselaar’s Pies and Pastries will be opening for the last time Saturday, July 6th, from 9am.

We have plenty of fresh, delicious food ready to go. Please come down, say hello and pick up one of our iconic pies, pasties or Supa Rolls. In memory of Greg, we will also be accepting cash or loose change donations for Beyond Blue.

Beyond Saturday, the shop will be closing indefinitely as Greg’s family, colleagues and friends process this huge loss. We ask the community to respect our privacy at this time, but we do hope you can come down to the shop on Saturday and show some love for our beloved Pitty.

Vale, Greg. You will be so missed.

Good Morning everyone!!!

Today we have some of our tasty pies first we have them all trayed up ready for the oven, next we have the pies in the oven and we took the party pies out earlier as they are smaller so they cook quicker, last we have taken them all out and ready to be cooled down. See Ya Soon !!! :)

In this video we have the final product of the cheese rolls with a nice golden/brown colour to them. Then we go on to the sausage roll mix where the spices and water have been mixed together so we can add in the bread crumbs and let that all mix together ready for the meat to go in.
