📍 Hampton, VIC 3188
💛 Building connections since 1984

Hampton Children's Playhouse is a place where parents/carers and pre-school children can socialise, play and learn together in a welcoming, safe and fun environment. The Playhouse was established in 1978 by local mothers and has become one of Bayside Melbourne's best community facilities for young families. This is the Playhouse's Public page for current and past members, as well as any potential future members, and general public or local community groups to Like. Playhouse members can also join the Members page. Once you are a member of Playhouse you can visit as often as you like! Members can visit any day of the week - bookings are not needed. Parents/carers attend Playhouse with their children and are responsible for their own children’s needs.

💛 Lots of updates from the Playhouse! 💛

💛 A LITTLE UPDATE FOR OUR PARENTS & CARERS 💛

We know that changing a little one while you’re out and about isn’t always easy, so we’ve added a change table to our temporary Playhouse location! 🧸

🍼 You’ll find it in the adult bathroom at 665 Hampton Street, Brighton.

It’s not quite the dedicated changing space we’d love to have, but we hope it makes those nappy changes a little easier while we’re operating from our temporary home. 💛

As always, if there’s anything that would make your visit to the Playhouse easier, we’d love to hear from you!

Happy playing! ☀️🧸

The next chapter is officially underway! 🛠️✨

Works at Hampton Children’s Playhouse have now commenced - and seeing the space start to transform is incredibly exciting.

After months of planning and organising, we’re finally seeing real progress on the ground. What was once an empty space is becoming the Playhouse we’ve all been working towards.

There’s still a way to go, but every bit of progress brings us closer to welcoming our community back through the doors. 💛

We can’t wait to share the transformation with you along the way!
