Guyra Bakery is looking for a friendly and reliable Bakery Shop Assistant to join our team. We have a permanent part-time or full-time position available.

If you love great customer service, enjoy early starts and thrive in a busy environment, we’d love to hear from you!

🕒 Availability Requirements:
• Must be available to work between 6:00am – 4:30pm
• Weekend work required on a rotating roster (one weekend per month)

🥐 About the Role:
• Serving customers with a warm and welcoming attitude
• Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
• Preparing and packaging fresh bakery items
• Maintaining a clean and organised shop
• Assisting with displays and stock rotation

🌟 About You:
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work well in a team
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred but not essential

🚨 Important update 🚨

We would like to advise you that the trading hours for the Guyra Bakery will be changing. Starting 01/07/2024, we will be adjusting our weekday closing time from 6pm to 4pm.

We understand that our previous hours have been convenient for many of you, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support. Our bread will still be available at Kirks IGA after 4pm as usual.

Please note that our delicious treats will still be available during our revised hours, and we look forward to serving you during our updated opening hours.

We are looking for TWO versatile Bakery Shop Assistants who are enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the daily operations of our bakery.

Available positions include: one full time position and one part time position

Responsibilities include:
⁃ greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries
⁃ Prepare and package bakery items
⁃ Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bakery
⁃ Collaborate with team members to fulfil customer orders accurately and efficiently

Must have:
⁃ strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
⁃ Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic delivery driver to join our team, to deliver our products to Armidale each day. As a vital member of our team, you’ll ensure our delicious products reach our partner stores promptly and with care. The start time will be 7:00 am and finish around 10am Monday- Saturday. Some Saturday’s can be optional

Responsibilities:
⁃ ensure all deliveries are made promptly
and efficiently
⁃ Handle products with care to maintain their
quality and presentation

Requirements:
⁃ Valid Drivers license
⁃ Reliable and punctual with a strong work
ethic
⁃ Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !! 🎄✨🎅🏻

On behalf of the staff at the Guyra Bakery we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very safe and prosperous New Year.

This year in particular has been a very exciting one for us with the opening of our new store. We have been overwhelmed with all the support we have received since we have opened.
