Finally the answer to 'What can you do with 2 dozen eggs, 4 kilos of sugar and 6 kilos of chocolate and 5 kilos of fondant?'.
A super gourmet chocolate mud cake to help Gundaroo Public School celebrate it's 150th anniversary!
The finished product measured 85cm long by 55 cm wide and 10 cm tall.
After the official cake cutting by the youngest student of the school and the oldest former principal the cake was cut up to feed over 400 people.

Hello everyone! Yes I know I have been rather slack for quite a while but that has now come to an end. So lets kick things off with a bit of a quiz.

Happy Birthday Poppy, a big 70th was celebrated on Saturday night. Lucky my 10 year old remembered to take photos before it was eaten.

This lovely birthday cake is made out of buttercream with buttercream piping. If you look closely you will see that the small piped flowers on the top are actually two tone (purple and white).
The cat is made out of fondant. Happy birthday Emma - have a wonderful day!

A 12" caramel mudcake for a birthday. To the lucky recipient I will not reveal who, or how young you are.
Hmmm....can you think of a better use for over 2kg of white chocolate! Yummy!
