It’s official and congratulations to John Sharma new owner of Bakets Delight Griffith
With a lifetime between photos of this little baby faced first female franchisee 1998 to the final bakery hand over 2024. Every one of my bakeries (6 of them in many towns) I have discovered a sales or baker team-member to train and mentor to their ultimate dream in owning their own business. This is Including my husband Peter taking on Griffith Bakery with me second time around.
It’s a tough gig, owning your own business going from 38 hour week to 7 days early mornings and starting fresh everyday.
Customers don’t see the feet of the duck paddling like crazy underwater everyday, they just see the fresh bread appear each day and looks effortless. I could not have got through this last adventure with Peter Turkington by my side there were many struggles from times it was just 2 of us baking to me being out completely recovering from surgeries then whole family got involved and the kids helped out too.
lPeter and I would like to wish you all the best John in your new adventure of being your own boss it’s time for us to have some time together outside the bakery, time to sleep in, travel and after a rest I will move onto my next adventure. My new passion is in the wellness industry and Peter is back in his happy place in the sky flying ✈️
