We are deeply shocked and saddened by the heartbreaking news of fatal stabbing at Nightcliff Supermarket yesterday evening that claimed the life of store owner Linford Feich. I’ve known this business for two years as operated by hardworking & beautiful family and loved by community. Upon delivering bread that morning, I and Lin exchanged greetings with smile which happened to be the last time we met forever.
At this time of unimaginable tragedy, we express our most sincere condolences to Lin and heartiest sympathy to Margaret, Ben, all family and staffs members. Our thoughts are with you and feel terribly sorry for irrecoverable loss you are enduring.

This is to inform our valued customers that we lost 80% of our production tonight that was mixed, bulk fermented, divided & shaped, proofed and ready to go in the oven for a magical finish.
We lost power right after the first lot was baked. Until the after hour electrician came and said the fault couldn’t be fixed until tomorrow morning, then arrived the help from power and water and said we must wait until the morning, our beautiful doughs couldn’t stop proofing. We could neither save it nor make another batch. We had no choice but to dump the work of many hours and come home. We feel so sorry 😢
So sorry to all affected customers for the troubles it caused. We understand that it’s beyond just an inconvenience.
We assure you that power will be restored in the morning and we’ll deliver Darwin’s favorite baked goods Wednesday morning.
