It's been quite a while since I posted any of my cakes on here.
Today we celebrated 7th birthday.

Paw Patrol
Dark chocolate mudcake and white chocolate mudcake layered with dark chocolate ganache. Fondant detailing.

This design was taken from an online image and changed slightly to suit us. Thankyou to the original designer.

It's been a while since I've posted one of my cakes.

Here is my 2nd eldest boys 10th birthday cake for today.
Mr #2 loves Oreo cookies so much and has since he was very little. He would love pulling them apart and dunking them in milk lol. We even had an Oreo cup from the show grounds at one stage, no idea what happened to that.

Anyway back to his cake.
The cake layers are a white chocolate and Oreo mudcake. The cake is covered in Oreo buttercream.
My son has been eyeing off the brand new flavour Oreo called birthday cake, which I found very fitting for this month since they are the birthday boys all time favourite cookie. So the filling Inside the cake is just like the birthday cake Oreo. Cake is then topped with different flavour Oreo's which are: original, split, strawberry, golden, red velvet and of course the star of the show birthday cake.
Let's just say the Oreo and the cake did not disappoint my birthday boy.

Oreo mudcake with an Oreo vanilla buttercream.
Topped with chocolates, home-made fudge and Macarons.

Mr. #1 turns the big 13 tomorrow! I cannot believe that I have a teen at home now lol.

It's been awhile since I posted in here, as you're aware I havnt been making cakes for awhile now but I have been up to something 🤪
Its time for me to share what I'm currently doing with my spare time and it's taken off quite well. It all started when my little one broke my diffuser shade, so I signed up and became a consultant to replace it, well I'm now not just a beginner consultant, my title is star consultant. Hi All,

The doors for Kristie's Kakes & Kupcakes are now closed!

I will not be taking any orders until further notice.

I've owned this cake business for 6 years & in that 6 years I've met some wonder people, have made so many cakes & I have loved working with you all. I've made some good friends along the way and I thank each and every one of you for supporting me through these years.
I have not made this decision lightly, I've wanted to come back and work full time for quite awhile, however I need to be focused on my little ones right now and this makes it hard to be focused on your cakes. Our youngest child is currently being tested for Autism which means all of his therapies are about to start, I need to be there for him and have all my focus there and on my other 3 boys.

For now my doors are closing, you will see every now and again cakes popping up that I have done for family & friends. During holidays I may even have a few things up for purchase. Orders will not be taken and im not sure at this point when I will be taking orders again.

Thanks again from my family to yours for your understanding.

It's Mr. 6th Birthday party today. Harry Potter themed because we all love the wizarding world!

This cake is massive!
Bottom layer is huge and is top deck with chocolate mudcake and white chocolate mudcake, dark chocolate ganache & white chocolate ganache. Decorated to look like Hogwarts castle walls.
Middle layer is white chocolate mudcake with white chocolate ganache. Decorated into a book called "Hogwarts a History".
Top layer is dark chocolate mudcake with dark chocolate ganache. Decorated to be the Hogwarts sorting hat.
Cake also has the Golden Snitch, Gryffindor scarf and Harry's magic wand.
