30 years ago today a very young Michael and Vicki realized their teenage dream of opening a bakery in Middleton.
Fast forward to today, and to say we are super proud that our son Kym, and his business partner Josh Jones, are continuing to run this bakery with the same recipes, love and passion that we opened with, would be an understatement.
I look forward to watching the third generation take over in my lifetime.

Workplace Wednesday is back again. This week Jack and Herbie set out to this weeks lucky local business Great Southern Excavation. Ben is a local lad who not long started his own business and is now smashing the landscaping and earthworks industry.
He also does alot of behind the scenes work for our local sporting clubs, the kind of bloke you want around.

Workplace Wednesday is here again. This week Jack and Herbie set out to this weeks lucky winners CLLMM Research Centre. These guys are a new, collaborative partnership working to create locally-driven and inclusive knowledge creation and exchange to inform decision making in the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth region. They also support First Nations community well-being, providing an opportunity for knowledge creation and sharing, and the incorporation of the scientific knowledge of First Nations.
Located along the river on barage road if you are driving past pop in for a look and a chat.

Workplace Wednesday is back. This week Jack and Herbie set out to this weeks lucky winners Goolwa Animal Farm. These guys have been in a community for a long time. This family ran farm is a must stop if you visiting our town or a great place to take the kids if your local. They have a good assortment of animals, a petting zoo, big play area and lots of farm activities to do. Make sure you pop in and say gday.
