This pretty vanilla sponge with salted caramel buttercream went off to be a prize last night for The Anglican School trivia night fundraiser.
I love how she turned out and decided to call her Thea.

The "Belinda" - a 3 tier dark chocolate mud cake with layers of butterscotch swiss meringue buttercream, was inspired by the fairy tale "snow white".
With a glossy black rose petal bottom tier, a red sugar glazed apple middle tier and a hammered copper top tier, she is magnificent!
Creating this was immensely satisfying.

It is such an honor to have my work in a magazine but it was a privilege to create these cakes for Libbie and Nathan. The small 2 teir with caramel sauce was to cellebrate their son Oliver's birthday, it was a fun addition to the wedding for all the kids to enjoy.
The wedding cake (photos are in the article) was made of 3 double barrel teirs of vanilla sponge, vanilla buttercream with delicate edible lace. The fresh succulants from http://www.shiraleearcher.com were just perfect and made the whole image complete.

After a massive move from Sydney to Canberra I needed to make something pretty and in Christmas spirit for the family tonight. I can't wait to get started on some big creations again!
Chocolate mud, piped chocolate ganache, a drizzle of homemade salted caramel topped with a sprinkle of coconut made for the perfect treat 💖

The Krysti. A simple but elegant cupcake tower topped with a gorgeous ruffled white chocolate mud cutting cake. Each cupcake was topped with a silver glitter heart topper and wrapped in delicate white lace. It was a delight creating such a pretty piece this for a lovely couple to enjoy on their special day.
