Bake Me Blind I started out with Bake Me Blind, blogging about my adventures in Gluten Free baking. I am a home baker doing this because I LOVE it.

I have an intolerance to gluten but did not see that as an obstacle to creating great tasting cakes that looked as well as tasted amazing. Bake Me Blind is able to meet Gluten Free and other Allergy restrictions and still create a cake or cupcakes that will look and taste incredible for any special occasion. I don't take on many jobs and mostly for friends and family but I do welcome enquiries and

if I can help out and Im free then great. Because Im not a commercial business, I may not respond immediately to your enquiries but I usually get back within 24-48 hours.

Fondant cakes have fallen out of favour in recent years but it’s always fun to dust off the skills and go back to modelling stuff. It’s a bit challenging in this heat tho. Chocolate brownie flavoured cake layers within filled with a chocolate buttercream and all edible fondant finish.

Six layers of beautiful chocolate devils food cake. Filled with alternating layers of dark chocolate ganache and chocolate buttercream. Simple and elegant in black and white.

NOT a cookie decorator 😂 but was happy to turn my amateur hand to these mahjong inspired iced shortbread biscuits. Beautiful all butter shortbread iced with a glacé icing not royal.

A three layer devils food cake chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache and decorated wirh whipped chocolate ganache and dark chocolate shards decorated with berries and rosemary. Our Christmas Day desert. 💕

Three tiers of moist vanilla bean cake filled with an unctuous homemade lemon curd 🍋 encased in white chocolate ganache for stability and durability for a long display. Finished with edible pearl cachou balls.
