To confirm your booking we require a 50% deposit. If a booking is made within 2 weeks of the event date, full upfront payment is required. Payment secures your date in our books as we are at times fully booked and lack of deposit can lead to your place being given to another client. Work will only commence on your order once deposit has been made based on the agreed quote and all designs approved
by the client. By paying your deposit, you agree to adhere to the following Terms and Conditions

Balance Due
Balance of payment is due via bank deposit no later than one week prior to the delivery date. A reminder will be sent if the balance is not received at this time. Failure to pay following the reminder may result in the order being cancelled. Cancellations
Special COVID conditions-if an order is cancelled due to COVID , a credit will be offered to be used at a later date . Normal operating conditions - If an order is cancelled two weeks prior to completion, the deposit will be forfeited. If the order is cancelled five days prior to date of completion 100% of the cost of the order will be forfeited. Refunds
Once delivery is accepted or cake/s collected, no refunds will be issued. Changes
Any changes made to your order may incur a surcharge depending on the change requested. No changes can be made 14 days prior to completion date. Delivery Our cakes and cupcakes are made and packaged in a safe way so that they are stable when travelling.Once Clients pick up their orders they are responsible for the safe delivery of their product and Sweet Sanctuary does not accept responsibility for any accidents that occur once the cake has been collected. When delivering, Please remember.Cakes can be heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 23˚ degrees or below. Cakes will be available for pickup at a mutually convenient time as arranged. Artistic Differences
It is important to remember that we are dealing with food and art and no two products are truly ever the same. We will endeavour to deliver a product that is as close to your requests and colour requirements as possible however it is important to keep in mind that no two cakes are ever the same and colours are subjective and may vary slightly. Cake Storage
Buttercream covered cakes, naked cakes and cupcakes should be refrigerated in the box in which they come and removed from the fridge and brought to room temperature prior to serving. Fondant covered cakes should not be refrigerated, but stored in a cool, preferably air-conditioned room, out of sunlight. Once cut, cakes should be stored in an airtight container or plastic wrap in the refrigerator. Sliced cake and cupcakes can also be stored in an airtight container and frozen for up to 3 months. Allergens
Please discuss with me if you have special dietary requirements. Cakes can be made free of allergens such as gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs nuts etc. Please be aware that although these ingredients can be removed from the cakes, products are made in a kitchen where allergens are used and as such we cannot guarantee that any of our cakes are completely free of all traces for people who are highly sensitive. Sweet Sanctuary cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions. Fresh Flowers
Please be aware Flowers may vary as they are seasonal and are subject to heat and humidity . Other options for flowers such as silk or fondant/gum paste are an excellent option
Photographs
All cakes are photographed prior to delivery. Sweet Sanctuary reserves the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. By paying a deposit, the client accepts these Terms & Conditions
