Behind the scenes with Bec, our competition winner! 🏆🍩✨

Since Bec works out in our Bakery in Order Assembly, she has been surrounded by thousands of our State of Origin Donuts over the last few months. So while she won the State of Origin guessing game, we completely understood why she requested her absolute favourites instead, and we were more than happy to oblige!

After all, you just can’t beat a fresh classic Plain Glazed Donut!

We’re so proud to support the incredible team at Coffee Brigade Brisbane! 🍞💙

The work they do every single day to provide fresh, handmade sandwiches to those who need them most in our community is truly inspiring. Knowing our bread is helping fuel that effort and making sandwich prep a little easier for their amazing volunteers means the world to us.

Shoutout to our production and distribution teams and Jeff for making sure those early morning deliveries run smoothly! Thanks for everything you do, Coffee Brigade team. 🙌✨

Sharing sandwiches with our friends every single day requires a lot of bread.

Around 150 loaves a week, to be precise.

But it's not just about the quantity. Every sandwich is made fresh with high-quality, nutritious ingredients to ensure it's as filling as it is delicious.

For the past two weeks, our bread has been arriving fresh each morning from Gold Coast Bakery Pty Ltd , ready before our volunteers arrive. The loaves are even clearly labelled as white or wholemeal, making sandwich prep that little bit easier.

The Gold Coast Bakery team have also been wonderful to work with, regularly checking in to make sure everything is running smoothly, and Jeffrey even stopped by the other day with some surplus loaves for us to keep in the freezer for a rainy day.

A huge thank you to Gold Coast Bakery for helping us provide our friends with fresh, handmade sandwiches every single day. 🍞

The numbers are in, and we have a winner! 🍩🏆🎉

We asked you to guess how many State of Origin Donuts our team hand-decorated and sold over that three-week footy rush surrounding Game 2. The real total was a whopping 10,848 donuts! 🤯💥

Our initial closest guesser, Kay, kindly passed the prize along to keep things completely fair for the community (thanks, Kay! 🫶). That means our official winner is Bec Janke with her guess of 24,000!

Fun fact: Bec works out in our bakery in Order Assembly. When you are surrounded by thousands of donuts and massive stacks of boxes every single day, the numbers easily start looking like a mountain. 😂📦 Even with a generous guess, she was the closest on the board.

Just like the cupcakes on Monday, our new State of Origin Maroons donut lasted exactly 60 seconds on the table before someone snuck a bite (ok, it was me) 🤫🍩

At this rate, we’re never getting a full product photo shoot done. But hey, at least you know the team approves of the quality. 🤷‍♂️

Fast karts and a mountain of fresh sandwiches, Paul our Area Sales Manager definitely had the best Friday afternoon on the team. 🏎️🥪

He caught up with a few of the crew at the Kingston Park Raceway supplier afternoon, tested out the brand new karts, and made sure the trackside was fully fueled with platters of fresh sandwiches. 🧑‍🍳✨
